Bluebird Serenade

Dew drops lie upon strands of silk in yellow fields I used to roam the old oak dips in sweet repose as I search for the faultless rose Bluebird singing an honest tune serenade rich lustrous lilacs drenched in memories amid peace surrender a lone heart's release On frail branch sways within the wind listens for lost calls to respond as dawns day moves slowly away weathered and weary he still stays
