Bitter December

Snowflakes lying around,no people to be found reminds me of December The twinkling christmas lights, the christmas trees and gifts left lonely, all by themselves I walk around the streets, see the mistletoes but no people to watch The sky is grey again,no music to listen, the street lamps go out The wind is harsh,it snows all day long Darkness descends as the sun goes down Faint shadows emerge all around, the huge trees look like ghostly towns I shudder seeing this christmas with no people around It reminds me of the bitter december,of unpleasant times and lonely hours Was it just a feeling? When my world fell apart!

What a look at a different kind of Cristmas time -a "Bitter December" indeed! Very nice poem! MC
