Ballroom Delights
Ballroom delights
You in black and me in royal blue,
Silky gown giving my curves a perfect hue,
handsome men and lovely ladies pair,
Dancing to the tunes perfect in flair,
Lights lend shine to faces that bear smiles,
Fragrance of delight in ballroom worthwhile,
Shining floor reflects colours of cheer,
Contagious joys in minutes sprout as a spear,
Your arms around my waist as I face you close,
Eyes in eyes and many emotions disclose,
Heart beats with every step when rhyme,
Can't conceal my love for you sublime,
Time freezes, late till night and early next day,
Through and through passionate lovers will play!
