Out on the porch, fog still thick but the possibility of sun coming through this day..We as a nation need to get out of the fog, wake up, put on knowledge and shine forth as the sun..Sara
Fog's invisibility fueled confusion Light's penetrationn very weak; open Door to knowledge, let light shine brightly forth Throw open the blocked, barred, bolted passage Welcome light to a clearer mind; warm heart Beauty waits hidden drapped in shrouded shawl Throw off shawl of depression; rainbows wait Roosters roster calls in chorus wake light Come, shine today for humanity waits Sunlight shines in glory cast golden rays Trees now in darker silhouette; fog Seems more alive, doomed to be removed soon Sun slowly rises bringing with it hope; Hope of a sunny better day like spring

A nice write on this poem Sara. I laugh at your last line because we are in a spring like day. Unbelievable weather we are having. IT changed a 30 degree change from last week. Melting the last couple of day and around 0 C.

Yes, the sun comes in and that fog just goes away. I liked how you related it to door of knowledge, Sara. that was a great touch.

2 1/2 years! You must have asked him. Haha. Anyway its something to be proud of.just knowing that where I go she goes also, when I'm cold she's cold too.the word love is too weak to discribe.but God gave us the right word when he said one. Its too sad fro me to think of when I think of my one and the short time we had.but then again we didn't have to change the diapers either.
