Assault and Pepper

I'm sorry I'm not sorry, nor drowning with regret; you're not my worry, you see this surely! I'm more likely to forget the significance of your insignificance, like a shark would mind a flea; or a raindrop to a mountain top that fell haphazardly. *Favorite Poem Contest Entry

About that raindrop...it landed smack dab between my eyes. Haphazardly or not; one shark bite of a write.

After 20 years of love and hate, chances are it will likely continue. Only we know how to wound one another as deeply as we do and have. Our scales of love and hate are always in flux, as they ever have been!

This is fun! If enough raindrops got together that mountain top would sing a different tune.
