As I Lift My Eyes To See Heaven I lift my eyes to see heaven above God's trinity that does so shine Golden vessels filled with love God's heart forever loving mine Sweet are the words sent to me sacrifice given to change my fate Lord, answering my desperate plea washing away all the evil hate Glory, too weak for describing you mankind, unworthy to your name True love you sent sweetly into we that were so blinded and lame The Trinity stands as the only One your divine Will never to be undone 09-28-2014. This poem was so good that it did not place nor get even an honorable mention in that crap contest sponsored by that person. Which is why I stopped writing for such people. Such sponsors have not enough talent or knowledge to judge anything in poetry IMHO. Why waste my time..

Thanks Robert for posting this beautiful poem. As you mentioned God does have a way to cleanse us and make up whole and acceptable to enter His kingdom. Clearly by knowing his Son is the only way we can ever get there, but He did give us the reason and the way to get there. Thanks again, your friend Lynn.

Thanks guys. Strange that the contest judge saw it not fit for even an honorable mention.. I guess writing in such a spiritual contest by that sponsor is not for me. Bible verses rated higher and were credited as the entrant's own words it seems. Some have not the capacity to judge in my opinion. Truth a wonderful thing...
