You have heard the words
flying fair as the Bluejay
sailing midday... wings
reaching for the heavens.

Who walks surrounded by
the arms of Gods, I long
to see your simple smile
break the dust and lend to me
your sacred words. I will sketch
the fabric of your hands.

The canvas lingers. You stand
alone the fire beneath
my skin strikes me silent...
while I wait for your
voice to sing.
