About Last Night
I desired the moon-ray in your eyes
last night,
it was up there for only us
igniting our ambrosial dreams
coiled as hidden silhouettes...
and though clandestine, discreet
our moans trickled with fruit's passion
as damp bodies claimed sweet intention,
the one we could relate to
because anything was possible;
through gossamer veils of secrecy
liberating us from obligations...
for wantonness became our elixir
when each gush, each thrust was a flame
that cravings were multiplied under illicit skies...
and in the nectar of morning after,
I think we both knew
how I desired the moon-ray in your eyes
last night.
