Abnormal Psychology

Spirituality has taught me we must know right from wrong
Why professor, does science determine where we belong?
Please enlighten me professor, for I really must know
Teach me and make me see, help me academically grow.
Tell me professor of the Psychopaths, and Sociopaths
And enlighten me on the formulas of the science and math
That prove in science and clinical diagnosis these people fit in
And exactly where Behavioral Science ends or even begins

I am understanding of the many ailments that exist within
But what of those willfully committing the gravest of sins?
Doesn't Spirituality tell us where we spiritually end
Why professor, are scientists left scratching their heads?
They are still in search of ways to diagnose and treat
The gravest of sinners who only havock they wreak.

Is it lack of activity where the Amygdala is concerned,
Or damage in the orbital frontal cortex, a 'pothole' or cell burned?
Can you tell me professor, do you by chance even know
Have you any clue on these sinners, or where they will go?
Science can't help them, nor can the strongest of pills
Their problems aren't scientific, they lie much deeper within.

For what they are lacking is what we all call the soul
Are we prepared to accept this, make it our ultimate goal
To separate these people from the branches of medicine
And finally turn them over to the Criminal Justice system
Without clinically labeling or providing them excuses
For all their wrongdoings and many forms of abuses?
