Abiku - Inside the Child's mind

Journeys to and fro is stressful,so they say,
Having to drink sour all over again,
Years of darkness and such blindness here,
Sing,dance and hear people's prayers & promises,
Maybe not others but I get tired,
Maybe some adventure.

Here is different,
Are these the voices we hear ?
Where are all they promised ?
Why these painful searings ?
They never clear, others come back with them,
She tends to look at me differently,
Why go back ?

Iv never seen these ones, not like journeyones,
They carry no scars and signs,
All they do is play so freely without a date to keep,
Their people look and call them differently,
With this freedom, maybe they never leave,
Food,water,games and hunting,
Why leave all these and go back ?

What are others doing back there,
They may probably be singing and dancing now,
Maybe some just returned or preparing to go,
Here ? Wake, eat, being looked at differently,
Spend the day missing home, I get tired,
Maybe some home-coming.
