Author's Notes: This is a romantic and passion-filled poem I wrote which looks at "love" and the mystery surrounding it as a "Time of Bliss," which turns out to be the poem's title and its overarching theme. My intent here in this emotive write is to mold a word picture essentially attempting to portray the alchemic force and enchantment that love arouses between two people when they cross their "normal bounds of moderation" -- smitten by Cupid's mystical arrow -- and fall deeply and hopelessly in love. The result is, as the couple's love is acknowledged and shared, it binds their fate as two lovers and two souls whose passion and love are melded as one -- and they've found that most sought after "rare love" to treasure for an eternity. It would indeed be really nice if this circumstance were true for everyone who falls in love, but this particular metaphor as it applies to real people and real lives will always be part of the human experience whenever a man and a woman meet and fall in love.
