A Reason For Fear
Fear how ever present you are.
Sometimes I wish I could leave you somewhere,
And come back only as me.
Strong and free.
Fear;
I have never seen your face.
I have never heard your voice but;
I have always felt your presence.
Even in my strongest moments, I feel you lurking close,
Ready to grow even bigger.
Fear;
You put a break in my speed.
You bring so much doubt &
You make me falter... just a little.
I am never sure if you are a friend or a foe.
Fear;
I have learnt to control your intensity over me.
How I wish I could vanquish you completely.
Somehow I know there is a reason for your being.
It is for learning & growth.
You make us pause and reflect;
Before we succeed!
