A Question of Happiness

How can I be happy with all that is going on in my city. Am I being selfish and not showing enough concern? People are living on the street and don't have enough to eat, Passed by, as people like me go merrily on our way. Is it my purpose in life to strive for happiness. No! I am called to be a loving and giving person. Even if it means, I must change my idea of happiness Sometimes when I stop thinking of myself, Special people come into my life and I experience true Happiness! Happiness is sought by simply not seeking it, give it away to others and it comes back 100 fold, and I am saying this to someone I know who not only knows this wisdom, but acts upon it. Having met Richard, I can tell you his spirit leads, the words only follow. His poetry and persona are one, humility and kindness! Merry Christmas Richard!

Many times have I asked the same question and as many times have I written on the subject but the question lingers. However, the good Lord asks us to conduct ourselves in the right way if we do so then we deserve to be happy although many may be unhappy for we have followed the path of righteousness!
