A Proud Poet

A emotional mess Building something with words They past the test When the impossible occured They saw the picture That was painted by God And try to describe With majisty and awe We treasure love In all of its forms The pureness of nature And deceit and scorn We stand united By just three words We the people Demand to be heard We shout out treason From the mountain top Go barely noticed And soon forgot We gave them the reason And told them the plot We gave the speech And then we got shot I need the world To hear what I'm saying Lovers and politicians They need to stop playing

Got that one correct..Enjoyed reading this one..Great work that you have penned..Yes, I have one dog Chihuahua and Rat Terrier mix..My Rat Terrier died in June of this year from heart failure at age 14 1/2 years..Our son brought this dog to us.It was in the woods behind the his house where someone had put it out.It was estimated age 4 months..It weighed about 4 1/2 lbs..She had a broken tail which we finally had to have docked.She is just perfect for us.Doris' dog stays down here all the time.SK

Doris' dog is a winner dog and chihuahua mix..I have one cat but had two..Our son's dog Stretch which is a Patterdale killed my favorite cat..Sara
