A Paranoid Love

My nervous system has glitches Daily fearing your love ditches Me for someone over time Losing what's always been mine Incapable of never seeing You will stop your heart from fleeing Into someone else's arms Mesmerized by all their charms You assure me day and night There is no need for my fright Your tender voice and warm breath Sends chills all across my neck As you kiss me whispering Sweetheart please start listening When you hear my I love you's You can bet they are so true There's only one love for me The only one my heart will see

This is exactly how I am. I really love this one, Robin. Your pieces oftentimes feel that they were written for me and that's a sign of a great writer. I don't know if I can say that whenever I'm reading your work, I can put myself in your shoes and see and feel the circumstances of a particular poem such as this but that's how I'm feeling. It's uniquely Robin. :)
