A Morning Walk
Proud the light and falling dew
On blossoming fields in airy May
Those rosy buds the bees pursue
Through the warm and fulgent ray.
They flutter by from eye to eye
Feeding ears with a common song
As happy shone the autumn sky
With the clouds that drifts along.
As sauntered I, by the river's brink
When gladsome Swans would glide
There bent I, for the evening drink
By the crystal stream expanding wide.
A lonely touch wonders sly across
On my damp skin and dewy hair
Was hues that sail its noonday course
As the night time cold approaches near.
On this ridged road, a slippery path
The sweet breeze had plucked a quill
When Blue Jays young, had swift depart
To scan the silhouette upon the hill.
