A Little More

I'm a little more then what you thought... A faceless soul, but with words I fought... No one heard my screams in the air... Now on pages you can taste and stare... I'm a little more than you thought I'd be... With folded wings I still soared free... Flew over spaces that filled my dreams... And the paper flowed in a rhyming stream... I'm so much more then what you thought... In a sky of stars my heart was caught... Through poetic rain I sit and absorb.... And with my pen I strum a musical chord...

All souls poetry....for weak and strong.... Well done! glad to know you are a landscaper....have any good advice on how to stop a bank from eroding?? I have been mulching and adding plants....helps some.

This sure is an empowering write, Michael :D Sometimes we must find it in ourselves to hurdle over those who bring us down-- btw I think "than" should be better instead of "then" and there's a sneaky "H" in cuddling beside "free" in 2nd line of stanza 2-- thanks so much btw for the fave in one of my poems :D means a lot! Congrats hugs again on the 2nd book! :D

Hi Michael..Do you mean soared free..in lieu of soured free?...You have a melodic way of painting these musical cords in your poetry...the book IS AWESOME..it inspires me to find the simple treasures in my everyday life...everything is worth celebrating and contemplating as you have done so well...The winner of my chastushka contest is really gonna be blessed like me to have a copy!
