A Little More
I'm a little more then what you thought...
A faceless soul, but with words I fought...
No one heard my screams in the air...
Now on pages you can taste and stare...
I'm a little more than you thought I'd be...
With folded wings I still soared free...
Flew over spaces that filled my dreams...
And the paper flowed in a rhyming stream...
I'm so much more then what you thought...
In a sky of stars my heart was caught...
Through poetic rain I sit and absorb....
And with my pen I strum a musical chord...
