A Flame To Rise

Love be hidden in timeless depth

The mystery of fateless wind

For long it waits in freedom

In flowing dark of day

So written it must sail

Dost fly at cellar's door

To splintered rest to mark this man a name

To grant his wish aflame

To love from smoke filled heart

Stay my restless feet

Bound by chains of choice

To bury life in her two eyes

The stain of two becoming one

The sudden cry of mourning doves

I in mystery bend

In search of weathered guest

A flame to rise a birth to better sorrows

Once a prince of royal past

Advanced to soiled pauper's son

Beyond the whispered words

The yawn of hollow fame

The best of yet to come
