A Fate Worse Than Depth

Below the Surface, something Boils Something Seethes and something Churns Something Wakes; it Stirs - Uncoils! Something Aches and something Burns Something festers, something stings For relief my Psyche screams! Waves of Calm and soothing Song, Alas! Are things of Dreams...

Your kind words are very much appreciated, Danesh; I'm glad you agree with me about not forcing a particular "something" on the reader, that they may guess it for themselves. Thank you for popping in and reviewing :)

Many have opinions but it doesn't make them right.

Thanks, Richard! I was quite apprehensive about posting this one because it got tore to SHREDS on another poetry site. The repetition of the word "something" bothered everyone and the title was panned as..."silly" I guess. I didn't want to come out and declare what MY "something" is; I wanted the reader to decide what their "something" is on their own.
