Delight pierces the gloom in all seasons if we but open our eyes. I have yet to try my hand at haiku, although I've said I would. The beauty and apt simplicity of the form thus far intimidate me. but your examples are an inspiration, Anne Lise !

It's like you put us there standing right beside you in the morning mist. This is sensitively said and felt. And thanks for reading my beginning attempt at writing Haiku poetry. :)

Having spent several days a month for years, sleeping on the top of the mountains around Athens protecting the forests from fire, I easily see the majestic brake of dawn, through your verses that exalt nature like no other! Marvelous Haiku verses dear Anne-Lise!
