then the sun winked at the night's lazy clouds
and they blushed...with a pinkish sigh
not knowing whether or not to warn
the sailors ~ of a distant storm...

I had been feeling restless for some time, 
But today, I awoke in the afternoon 
Feeling truly at peace for the first time.
 
A sense of calm enveloped me, 
Along with focus and drive, 
As a myriad of emotions surged within, 
Like a soldier readying for battle, he rides.

The burden had lifted, 
In its place,

Wishing to see a new night

Don't know what for
Unsettling, I toss, I turn
Finallly I call your name
Seems you're the missing

Warm milk to sooth me to sleep?
A sip of water, check on my daughter?
