Premium Member Fragile Daddy Flashes
Dedicated to My Daddy, William Cason Godwin, 1931 - 1998
Heart-fragile, love flashes that my memory stashes Live on to hurt me in sentimental, joyous ways; His dog tags, medals and ring sit in my jewelry box, and I am soothed mumming around home wearing his old socks. Time fragments and slivers dwell tenderly in my thoughts. ...

Premium Member "tis Smoke, My Bloke"
As the mind of humanity’s flesh
Simply wants all of the world’s cash
As bills smell in congress they pass
Laws resembling methane gas
Poof, aloof, savings gone in a flash
Of cash stash, my soul is free at last

Our retirement savings of cash stashes
Like bad memories as congress passes
Their bills smelling like methane gases
Like moles complain of smelling mo__ lasses
As the politics of fresh air clashes
`Tis smoke, my bloke; use miracle glasses...

In Fall
In fall, Boomer Halloweens produce orange and black memories;
will I ever outgrow treat-laden bags and glowing pumpkins?
Van Gogh's flaming handiwork draws crowds in the Blue Ridge;
he paints the trees, but God does the skies.
The slanting sunlight creeps up my back,
     its lengthening rays whispering “snow.”
Manic animals off their meds gather food.
Stashes forgotten, they must follow winter's diet.
Sleep comes early to me now.
In fall....

Too Much
Too Much

Marginalized
Masochistic & Meretricious
Deaf, dumb, and desensitized
These roads are haunted
We become Superstitious
As the hills grow eyes

These actions have consequences
An open mouth full of flies
The putrid smell overwhelms the senses
Fervently escape your time to die.

These are the destined of the masses
They will not rest in their graves
A pandemic, global panic, supply stashes
Spreading terror with their mutant plague....

Scatter My Ashes
Scatter my ashes
You can't keep them here
I know you've got me in stashes
Just let go my dear

Keep our memories
Say good-bye to my body
Please be at ease
Say good-bye to my body

I'll save you a place
Up here in heaven
I'm surrounded by grace
Up here in heaven

No need to worry
I found my way home
Clear your eyes so blurry
There's no need to roam

Scatter my ashes
You can't keep them here
I know you've got me in stashes
Just let go my dear
