Fragile Daddy Flashes
Heart-fragile, love flashes that my memory stashes
Live on to hurt me in sentimental, joyous ways;
His dog tags, medals and ring sit in my jewelry box, and
I am soothed mumming around home wearing his old socks.
Time fragments and slivers dwell tenderly in my thoughts.
