Blue Dogs and Parchment Shields

sniff out the garish lights
loud music and drunken discussions
enter the party uninvited 
conceive uneasiness and instant disdain
you try to dance with strangers
who quickly slide away.
somewhere in the intercourse of a reddish night
they feed you to a pack of blue dogs
willing to drag you down into their fetid fires.

Loneliness warps all reason
lowers the standard
opens the vein

My thoughts vomited upon the page. 
No rhyme, no reason, no beauty;
Raw, bare muscle and torn flesh.
No cute love hearts colored red and pink;
No, this is the heart of human anatomy. 
The heart bared with a “Y” incision on a stark,  cold, metal table.
The heart that glistens with swollen purple

If God had to write a poem
Being the best divine writer
Ever
This poem
Would have been very simple
No words
No swords
Writing on the parchment
No, this is not a sample
Of his mysterious accoutrement
Just blank pages
For the ages.

Upon this Naked Parchment Bare

Every stroke is dimensional against this naked parchment bare.
Until the words appear, getting them to share their mystery there.
And when the master makes them dance and line-up in their roles.
Each noun or verb speaks its own tone, whether tis highs or lows.

I feel my skin crack and split
as I watch dust seep from my old wounds

Leaves of Parchment

Times of old dwindle throughout captured in leaves of parchment sewed individually into bounded Moroccan, Spanish, and Russian Leathers, seeping the smells of old centuries wisdom enclosed. 

 Taking the mind into the beyond where great stories are forged and fantasies made. 

 Smells of musk, vanilla, and tobacco fill the air with the sweet

Enticing whispers on candle- lit sand

beneath an effervescent moon and honey essence

Florescent jasmine in silent touch

as dreams tread softly on purple petals

Amorous glances in shades of blue

'bove silver wisps and wistful waves

A falling star,Unspoken thoughts

Shimmering dust and hundred wishes

The clack of glass,bacchus of wine

Bare toes tip-toeing in  search of time

Arms embrace shadows by blazing.fire
