Dripping words ooze alike golden honey
When someone's world is saddened with worry
Poetry may offer quiet release
For those who seek strength and calm inner peace. 

Poets cannot foresee fear or the dread
Inside hearts of whom their poem is read
If only they knew how words can inspire
Peace deep inside those whose world became dire.

A dripping faucet

icicles dripping water in the sunshine

icicles dripping water in the sunshine
watching her sleep soundly as the sun slowly sets
i wish this impromptu trip's feeling would last forever
in life sometimes, all we get is what we get

watching the small waves try to decide whether or not to crash
i take in what will, in the future, be

Dripping With Desire

Candles burn,
incense glows,
as music plays and fires blaze. 
The scent of you...  Déjà vu.
Your silhouette
is mesmerizing,
hypnotizing me.

Enchanting eyes,
seductive smile.
Your gentle touch, almost too much.
My body burning, my soul yearning.
Salacious lips
whisper words,
bewitching me


Bodies entwine,
Hearts hammer.
My soul succumbs to passions drums.
Black satin skies, sweet, sated cries.
Worlds collide,
stars explode.
Loves unleashed.

My Dripping Honey

My Dripping Honey

Golden honey, thick and slow,
Warming hands and lips below,
A liquid heat that starts to flow,
In lazy drips, a steady glow.

Soft and sweet as it descends,
Tracing curves, it twists and bends,
Trailing fire on my thigh it lies,
A molten pulse, a heated rise.

Warm and sticky, sugar’s kiss,
Each thrust a tease, a lingering bliss,
Glistening skin beneath

The Icicles Dripping

I’m watching the icicles dripping,
Reminded of ten years ago,
When I held up my grandson to watch them,
All the things then that I couldn’t know.

How he’d soak up so much he was learning
And prove to be clever and smart;
How his joy in our moments together 
Would tattoo him right onto my heart.

How he’d love to hear

Porcelain Face

There once was a Marm with a dripping cold
Whose bright idea she feared would unfold:
Her deep scribed porcelain face
Was far harder to replace
Then a soaked sink her plumber could not hold.

Raindrops Dripping To The Ground

Feeling miserable, 
And upset with my actions. 
Feeling like I am in a boat load, 
Of trouble.
I look out my window, 
And see, 
Raindrops, 
Drip, drip, dripping,
Slowly, 
On to the lush green grass.

It’s like the weather can read my mind, 
And sense my emotions.
I long to be outside, 
Feeling the raindrops 
Drip, drip, dripping,
Onto me.
But

Dripping

No healthy oils
but beef dripping kept
solid in a white enamel 
can with a lid
in a cupboard under
the oven. Reused until
too dark and heavy 
with sediments, 
the dregs flavored 
the best chips.

Mothers carried 
the war year's frugal habits
into the fifties and so
it was with mine. 
My Mum could make
a feast out of almost nothing
and gave little

dripping Opalescent Wholeness

pink pearls and peach dandelions
silently showing out with tiny slivers of fluff
winged faeries never looked more pretty
dripping opalescent wholeness
showing the world goodness
instilling hope, joy, and peace

The Jaguars Dripping

After stepping out of the forest river,
                               the jaguar’s dripping.
So subtle, the drops, so clear, they nearly disappear.

Down my umbrella
   ~the raindrops slid down dripping~
  into wide waters
