MY CLASSMATES












My classmates
Theresa Trot had a snot
Hanging from her nose
She sniffs and snorts and swallows
But Theresa never blows.

Now it’s run down past her lips
And settled on her chin
Her teeth look really shiny
When Theresa starts to grin.

She sits next to Janice McManus
Who`s bouncing around on one shoe
It looks quite a feat as she hops to her seat

Curious minds seek knowledge,
laughter, friendship, shared 
classmates, hearts connected.

Chatter fills the air,
laughter beyond imagination
classmates together.

As war comrades
we stand to strive hard,
good memories we still create.

Like red ants on march
hands held heartedly with
with heavenly blessing,
to cross that star fived sea(L5)

classmates together,
so sad three stayed with the flag
in a foreign land, 
hope we forget never to forget,
lovely

How Can I Control My Classmates

She has begged to see me all day.
The teacher and I have tried to figure it out.
But it has not worked out, so I see her in the morning.
She is a fourth-grade delight.
With a big problem.
She needs to know how to control her classmates.
I suggest that she let them be themselves.

For things that seemed real at first glance but full of some
surprises later that many of us were too young to understand.

Terry King, the class-clown

My Classmates

Like Hamlet's soliloquies 
I now ponder on death
The Shakesperean to be or not to be
And now I ponder on my classmates,
Those who have died these past few years.

When you reach 70, everything after
Are bonus years,
And many of my classmates 
Are going one by one.

No more dialogues.
Only monologues remain.
Monologues of death.
Monologues of the hereafter.
