I always loved the expression about March. This time it didn't really come in like a lion OR lamb. Just kind of gloomy. I really enjoyed this write

Lion of March is roaring here too. But instead of cloud bursts, we suffer from the shower of blazing spears and not only roses sigh, but all vegetation! The parched lands cry for a little water. Great use of imagery, dear Kim.

Well, March is here with it has come some pouring rain and wind so far. I wonder if it will go out like a lamb. I enjoyed reading your post. Sara K

Funny Kim...I used lion in a different way for a March inspired poem. Yours is wonderful and reading it gives me the feeling I get from meditation. It's very soothing!

There is an angst in nature as March comes in here in America, the saying is March comes in like a lion and leaves as a lamb. The buzzing bird beaks should also bring to mind the bees (the birds and the bees). Roses sighing...its almost Spring. Thank you for your lovely comment. Blessings!
