Vow Wedding Poems and Vows

A Wedding Vow
Corpulent cottagers clapping like clowns a fat Friday festival, gobblers and gowns. Merry mad munchers of muffins and mirth do-si-do dumbly, eaters of earth. Champagne sugar shoved in a shoe If love lasts not long, love handles will do.

Vow & Energy Renewal
so much behind us - may the next thirty-five years. . . go slow and easy! For LInda- Marie's "Voicing Vows" Contest

We Stand Together
Who would have thought We'd be standing here today This road was hard fought We made it anyway Now we stand before God And we start our new life As we battle the odds I'm glad to become your wife I vow to love you You vow to love me To honor and cherish And to love eternally As man and woman We stand separate As husband and wife We stand together

Taffeta, Lace and Silk
A vow of lies I should never have said, Two words I wish I’d saved for me and you; My wasted innocence on the wedding bed Defiled the words of love that say ‘I do’. A distant regret now haunts my mind, you see, While watching you walking down towards me; My vision of taffeta, lace and silk Tainted by a past of the devil’s milk. I seek your smile beneath the bridal veil, My comfort before promises are made And I give my heart as regrets now fade. Later when I sip from your holy grail And yield to the power of loving spells I recall the joy of our wedding bells.

The Sordid Affair
There's money___then there's love Looking back at him __desiring Brief encounters above Husband's comments deriding So handsome fire__home ice Guilt, shame, remorse____desire One last glimpse maybe twice Marriage but children__can't transpire Inner turmoil__wishing Should I walk away now Turn turn around running We'll say the wedding's vow

My Wedding Vow To You!
Falling from the heavens, my beautiful angel. To save me when I'm in danger and I to the. For in god's wishes we would meet and fall in love. And marry here today with each other in our arm's. Stay with me here, never stray. And I will love you for the rest of my living and dyeing day's. Let it be known that until my soul passes into another life and even after. My love for you will last forever.

License To Love
I would in deed thee truly wed Token drops of blood for you bled Lavish garlands at your feet spread Kneeling at your feet all pretense shed Vow that by virtue and fealty be led Each promise proofed and carefully read  Barter my name in your stead Banish all pretexts; to self dead A humble leader not trite figurehead In your footsteps softly tread  Feast on your hospitality; in your graces bred Share your trials; vanquish your dread  Cultivate your esteem; nourish your bed Furnish your homestead; provide your bread

Marriage
Is a sacred vow With sincerity n love Between two people Intertwining them As one entity, unit Through words written N said out loud As loved one’s n family gather Watching two lives Intertwine forever
