Orbs
I
Roving, as though twice adream, across a passel of winking once-weres ; his face pocked by time’s heels, blushing gay gray ogling nude oaks; he quarts.
II
Day’s hue-lease expires and Sunset prinks herself red atop a glassy sea of Moby fame. Sinking tardily to defy asymptote.
III
But my irides are wrung dry, and gleaming, I hum some prayer of the mute; gamboling in a golden lake where God burns his mistakes.
