Why can't I just order coffee?

The server will stare at you with big owl eyes
waiting..hoot hoot
What kind of coffee Mam ?
Decaf ? half-caf? mocha?latte? espresso ?
 Blink
You know, coffee - cream - no sugar
 hoot hoot blink
Decaf or regular?
Never mind, I'll have tea instead..
Certainly Mam ! Will that be green, chai, or black ?
 For the love of Pete..do you have water?
Of course..bottled or tap?

I guess I don't eat out much. "Honey, is breakfast ready yet?" and she always knows exactly what I want.

don't forget, filtered coffee one shot or two, or even three for some folk. my problem is sharing a biscuit(Cookie) and asking for two plates, wow that get 'em.

This is a huge problem in modern life. We get all these choices, can't decide, and then when we want choices, we don't get them. And each place has different selections.

Decisions, decisions... I'd hate to face that waitress early in the morning. I imagine I wouldn't make the day of the waitress either... unless I left a worthwhile tip for her time.

i get this all the time,pat!.. "egg: scrambled, sunny-side-up, fried?"... " make it boiled..." " wit the value meal or just a single order?".. and the rambling goes on... lol!..:) huggs!

I hear you, so true. Best to drive to Tim Hortons' you have few choices but good ol' coffee or plain tea. Except they have changed their sizes, if you get an extra large you'll be sitting on the toilet peeing for hours... just saying. Have a nice day! lee

This is one of my biggest bug bears In fact I rarely go in a coffee shop now. I stand there and listen to the list and then ask for just black coffee it stuns them for a second but then they start listing how many sizes they have grrr xx
