Across the Sea

You answer to questions you've never been asked
Just because you've got the right to pass
Looking through you like an hour glass
Time keeps beating down your lonely path

Can't find yourself in just one place
In a universe simply filled with space
They turned you away without a trace
Time will come when they will fall from grace

She flew in from across the sea
I'm the lighthouse that guided her to me
Her waves move me just the right way
I found new life on a broken down day

Without a doubt, love at first site
I'm gonna make her mine tonight
Not backing down without a fight
She's gonna make me hers, and I'm gonna make her mine tonight

I say nothing to question you never ask
Because your heart's got the right to pass
Looking at you through a broken hour glass
Let's keep walking down this chosen path

You say things to questions you once knew
The grass now greener and the sky is blue
Telling me that one and one makes two
Not like feelings that have been far a few

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

You wrote this really well... Instead of I do not know, you can use free verse or prose for this poem..
