Old Man

Sitting in a rocking chair
Staring out the window
The old man thinks quietly
Of all the people he used to know

He waits for someone that will see
And want to know his history
Cause from his window, the old man stares
For someone who knows him, and might even care

He thinks of the day when he will die
A few people will show, but no one will cry
People wonder who the old man is
But no one knows of the life he lives

He imagines all the things he would like to do
If he had a normal life like me and you
But every day he stays at home
Tired, weak and all alone

Across the Sea

You answer to questions you've never been asked
Just because you've got the right to pass
Looking through you like an hour glass
Time keeps beating down your lonely path

Can't find yourself in just one place
In a universe simply filled with space
They turned you away without a trace
Time will come when they will fall from grace

She flew in from across the sea
I'm the lighthouse that guided her to me
Her waves move me just the right way
I found new life on a broken down day

Without a doubt, love at first site
I'm gonna make her mine tonight
Not backing down without a fight
She's gonna make me hers, and I'm gonna make her mine tonight

I say nothing to question you never ask
Because your heart's got the right to pass
Looking at you through a broken hour glass
Let's keep walking down this chosen path

You say things to questions you once knew
The grass now greener and the sky is blue
Telling me that one and one makes two
Not like feelings that have been far a few

Island Dreams

Your voice still rings within my ears
As you wish me goodnight, I leave all my fears
Of society around us which can be so cruel
I dream of you and I floating above the world
I wake up on an island with sand beneath my feet
With a fresh breeze of love which never felt so sweet
I explore for a while but nothing is the same
This is where I want to dream; a place where beauty calls your name
I surrender my love as it dances around the sun
Yet my heart still aches, as I forever remain one
Then a presence is felt, and the visions come true
For a girl appears, and I see it is you
Together we run, laugh and play
And hold each other tight through night and day
I'm secluded from moments and fears that I had
And with you by my side I'll never feel sad
At night we sit together and stare at the fire
As I hold you here forever, my love never grows tired
These moments we live together and free
I'll do anything to keep you here with me
But they say all dreams must come to an end
Forever on this island is where I'll find my true friend
So never leave me to burn with the sun
As our love grows stronger, we become one

Angel Dove

Poetry known as the language of love
Speaks of your beauty, as white as a dove
Your wings spread out wide as you blaze through the sky
The search has begun for that one special guy
As you see a shape, you head down low
And spot a yourg boy, with nowhere to go
His soul is lonely and in need of belief
So you spread out your wings and sweep him off his feet
Together so strong, exploring the skies
You reaassure his safety as he closes his eyes
As he lays his head upon your chest
He can hear the heartbeat of an angel at rest
The rythm of your love beats faster and faster
As he falls under the spell of your love and power
All his past worries soon shall leave
As he rests in protection, his soul at peace

New Beginnings

Tell me why you want to leave
I guess I just don't fit your beliefs
Falling together, you never seem to see
That all our beginnings begin with release

Feeling apart was never part of the plan
Falling apart was all that was left in the end

Looking the other way never made much sense
NoW I'm sitting here by myself on the fence
Falling together; you never seem to see
That all new beginnings began with release

Staying apart was never part of the plan
New beginningS will begin in the end

So why did I ever give in
Put it up to see it fall again
Never seem to be right
I know I'm losing this fight

Being apart was never part of the plan
I want to begin, begin again
I'm sorry my voice spoke so lOud
But I can't love you till the end

Being apart was never part of the plan
New beginnings won't have me fall again

Emarald Eyes

Emerald eyes
Shy in disguise
She stole my soul
Made me lose control

Want to call her mine
She blows my mind
Nothing like I've ever seen
Straight out of a movie scene

Just want to hold her hand
Wish she would understand
That I'm the one to be
I'm the one; I'm the man

She would be treated like a queen
Nothing else in between
And if I was ever given the chance
I would promise her true romance

Erase Me

Erase me with your hands
And let me not exist
Or take me in your arms
I'm ready for the risk

I see you as an option
Your a choice I have to make
Forgive me if I run off
Since it's your heart I will break

So many things I've wanted
And so often I would get
But it'll happen over and over
I'll be left only with my regrets

Watch me as I walk by
But please don't say a word
I'm a person like all others
It's my love who's never sure

Mended Hearts

Girl where have you gone
I think I understand
Stranded here alone
Inside my foreign land

Time cannot be spent
I think you understand
Got a heart not willing to bend
Stays broken until the end

I'll see you when I close my eyes
I'll see you when I dream again
	Wake up just to realize
I've got a heart that you can never mend

Looking back, it's easy to see
How time ran out for you and me
Looking on, I know it'll never be
Between us just oceans and the seas

Looking back, it's hard to find
The reason we couldn't take the time
Wishing I can still call you mine
But you'll be here forever in my mind

I'll see you when I close my eyes
I'll see you when I dream again
	Wake up just to realize
I've got a heart that you can never mend

My Majesty

Unpleasant words spoken
Unwisely from her lips
As I speak of an angel
The gril I hate to miss
Who told her of such things
As for herself, she doesn't know better
Unwisely words spoken
The memories stay forever
Enter my heart
As you laugh out loud
Stay around forever
For to leave; you're not allowed
Forgive me as I ponder
About things which are said and done
But when shade surrenders to light
You're my majesty, the only one

Edge of Dawn

Standing at the edge of dawn
Nothing short of my final yawn
As the sun rises from above
Nothing short of all my love
Of everything I've ever known
Within space and time; I have shown
We can make it if we try
Take my hand, please don't cry
For my time here has to end
So take my hand, my only friend
And smile like you know it all
Here it comes, final rise and fall
To leaving it back where it belongs
I tell you now it won't be long
Once again all in good time
You see it all in your mind
Slow it down I'll make you mine
Look away and nevermind
You will shine from up above
Bring it home; one big love
