Purpose
At the time of our birth, we know our exact purpose;
We forget what that is moments later.
Throughout our lives, we spend hours contemplating the possibilities,
contemplating who we will be and how we will spend our days;
Without knowing, we agonize over our reason to stay.
If you're lucky, you remember your purpose early;
Finding who you are within the first ten years of living,
Most people still lost throughout their first twenty years.
There are few who die never realizing their true meaning,
Mental illness overtaking their being.
Our purpose is our driving force in life,
Whether we're trying to find it or fulfill it,
We're always living because of our purpose.
