The Nightfall
up, about and going,
once again throughout the day,
like the time that drives us through.
a mix of emotions been i through,
nothing exquisite but.
filled my tummy nd off to sleep.
then came the winter so firm,
i lost my hold.
woke up to shock,
remember nothing but.
all the bad came trembling down.
overwhelmed by emotions,
tears rolled by.
mind went blank
and i stared into the dark of night.
i did drouse off later,
woke up to a fresh chapter no different but.
had no sight of the day that passed.
up, about and going,
once again throughout the day,
like the time that drives us through.
