My Turn For Love
You once told me that when I grow up,
A handsome prince would come along.
He'd kiss my lips and take me away
To a castle really, really far.
Well, now that I am all grown up now -
I am longing for that kiss,
Longing to see my lovers face.
I cant wait to meet my prince.
Its now my turn to feel the joy
Of loving someone else.
To know what its finally like to
Have someone just to myself.
To feel someones arms around my body.
Keeping me warm all nite.
To whisper to each other and feel
Passion all thru the nite.
To have someone to come home to,
To know theres someone who cares.
To be my provider and protector,
And to know he'll always be there.
Its my turn to hold his hand
Because I waited, I know its from above.
Im ready now to meet MY prince--
Now its my turn for love.
