It Was a Storm
The quiver of fresh blood never left my hands.
It marked me like a permanent stain of disgust.
Beauty was underneath the liquid of her mind.
The color grey was what clouded her eyes.
It was a color of sadness, yet she showed no pain.
Like the moon, it only showed its true color in the night.
I was attracted to her like a wolf underneath the same covered darkness.
She didn't move when the storm approached.
She made no move for cover.
She stood with a powerful aura that radiated off of her body and into mine.
It was a storm like no other.
the thunder made it clear of it's presence as it echoed close to my ear.
The floor shook with a burning rage.
I made no move for cover. I stood like a statue with open arms.
Welcoming the storm into my life.
The storm ended soon after it ended me.
I died that night. Like the rest of this land.
