Are You Still There

I see you sitting in your chair
I ask by myself : Are you still there?
I have known you once so strong
Seeing you now looks so wrong
In your face I see marks of pain
Was your long journey in vain?
 Why can’t you smile anymore?
I can’t open your closed door
 Looking in your empty eyes
Once so alive and once so wise
Only a body in a chair I see today
The person I once knew, went away
