The Reasons For Love

How could life, treat you like this,
I saved your life, with just a simple kiss,
I pull you up, from that cold, dark abyss,
The memories we spend, we will surely miss,

I will set you free, from your misery,
	I will hold you tight,
And be your guide, walk with you through the tunnel,
	With my light,

Don’t set your eyes down,
Don’t let your pride hit ground,
Once we reach the end of this tunnel,
You will surely be save and sound...

Now, we have arrived, and set you free I will,
Now it’s your time to see, what’s over that hill.

I had held you in my arms, as I would to a wounded dove,
But now, it’s time to let you fly.
And to you my love,
I’m forced to say goodbye.
