75 PREAKNESS

The fingered clouds beckoned forth,
And remnant regents came,
I being under scraggly force
Said " Let us begin the game."

Then lined them up and tally hoed,
(With garden on the side,)
"You call that what we are to foed?"
"I am only for the ride."

Wow. This is brilliant. Many years ago I went to the horse races at Wyoming Downs (Evanston) WY. Loved these horses, riders,( horses names) and all the excitement. Love this poem as seen "straight from horses' mouth". Love being in this captivating poetic moment.
