Listen

Listen can you hear it?
I'm growing
My momentum pines
In habitual pause

My window
A looking glass
Into a world my skin is shredding
From all my shades and flaws

What's it like out there?
The size of life and dust
My body grows in a spiral
I cannot, i won't, i must

My mind a heavy pound
Pulsating dusk till dawn
Listen can you hear it?
My yelp at you this morn

My yelp is now a yop
A furious call to the wild
Listen can you hear it?
I'm your teenage child.
