Promise
I promise to be faithful,
and hope that you do too.
I promise to be honest,
so please tell me the truth.
I promise I will listen,
so don't hold nothing back;
you cheated on that other girl,
but don't do me like that.
I won't ask you for money,
so don't tell me you're broke;
I promise not to fuss you out,
If i did so I would choke.
I promise not to make a promise
that I cannot keep,
I promise to be everything that
you need me to be.
