My Quotes

Quote Left Christmas is not about trees, lights, tinsel, and gift exchange. It is atime when families celebrate the birth of a Baby who became a man, was crucified, dead and buried, rose again on the third day, ascended into Heaven, is seated ea the Right Hand of God the Father and gives eternal life. Bloggers PhotoGreetings, from the Great State of Georgia.  I was born on 17 March 1943 in Dublin, Georgia.  I graduated from East Laurens High School and joined the Air Force in 1963.  I spent twenty years working in the Chaplain Career Field in an administrative capacity.  I retired in 1983 and returned to my roots in 1986.  I worked for 23 years at the VA Medical Center as the Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Pharmacy and retire on 1 April 2009.  I have four children (two of my own, and two wonderful step-daughters).  My daughter, Rachel and her husband, Dwayne have no children.  My son Jon and his wife, Carra, have three children.  My step0daughter, Christy and her husband, Rob, have no children.  My step-daughter, Ginger and her husband, Jason, have two children.  We have 5 grandchildren and a 14 year old retriever named Cream Puff.  We live in the country, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.  My wife and I are enjoying retirement and hope to grow old (very old) together.  I enjoy yard work and am being self-taught to do woodwork.  My real hobby is writing and being a member of Poetry Soup.
