Watchful Angels

An angel watches over us all through our life,
Assigned by our God, so we deal with our strife;
Guardians of goodness they do all that they can,
Whether we know or not, they lend us a hand.

When we are lost in confusion of chaos or sin,
Abandon us not, they are with us thick or thin;
Whispering sweet praises for changes take heed,
Messages of true care, our God loves us indeed.

There are dark angels who feed us nothing but doubt,
For their master of pure darkness is all he’s about;
He promises us much to be right by his side,
Cave into his power and then find out he lied.

Yes a fight keeps raging over each of our souls,
Most surely a battle as we deal with our woes;
The trouble we have is not seeing the big picture,
Wrongfully we find strength in striving to be richer.

With faith in the light of goodness, we can find hope,
Giving us the power of love, so we righteously cope;
So listen to the whispers, stand up and stand tall,
The truth comes from angels, who watch over us all.

Poetry In Motion

Poetry in motion is like singing a song,
With words their meaning, short or long;
Thought expressed with feeling of the written word,
An expressive idea carried as if on the wings of bird.

Gaiety, festivity, dedication or sorrow words meant,
Even to cherish, share, or a way to just vent;
Carefully scribed from thought, said or just done,
The poet can be serious or write just for fun.

A long time ago many stories were poetically told,
Some became treasure and thus never grew old;
Rhythm, familiarity, or just were easy to say,
Poems that endure, even now, to this day.

As we ride the winds of time so much can be said,
The very essence of poetry that dance in ones’ head;
Not for fame, nor fortune, not even for fleeting power,
A symphony of lovely words like the beauty of a flower.

For as long as man lives and is able to clearly think,
He will express his feelings with song, verse, or drink;
In his bed, at his work, or just a sudden notion,
He will happily sing a song with poetry in motion

The Light of Love

It is by the light of love re-birth unfolds,
A tonic of just course and common events;
Touched by the grace of the knowledge of the one,
Chiseled from fate and molded into destiny,

Like being the image looking back through the mirror,
Objective thought carried on the waves of time;
The blank slate with a mission on the way to death,
A site unblemished without hate, fury or envy.

We carry our flag drenched in an epic story of our ego’s quest,
Towards a singular haven at the conception of our being;
Liquid rainbow colors floating our forms in divine pleasure,
Hearts pounding in symmetry to the whispers of angelic wings.

A prayer of wishful grace absorbed in our mind’s eye,
Where truth is but a lip ness test open to subjective thought;
Ending at the core of our moral and ethical ideals,
As re-birth unfolds upon us by the very light of love.
