I'M In Love With You

How do I describe
My love to you?
How can I explain
That this is true?
Love is a funny thing
We'll never understand,
But hear this truth ring:
I'm in love with you.
These butterflies,
Shy smiles,
Late nights.
Thoughts are constantly
About you.
I can't tell you
All the times
This heart beats faster,
Even when you're out of view.
Always in my thoughts,
Always in my dreams.
A life without you would
Tear me apart at the seams.
It's you who keeps me up all night
And gets me through the day.
It seems to me that there
Is only one thing left to say.
I've said it already,
But to make sure you know it's true,
I'll say how I feel:
I'm completely in love with you.

Sparks Will Fly

Eyes glare of
the unexpected,
staring far too long
at the person that
they love.
the feeling
between them
is strong,
sparks fly
across the air
letting people know
that when eyes
stare towards
each other
they soon will
start to glow

Athena

Beauty!a major gift to her.
Swift in swords art,
A lover of wisdom,
A heart stronger than steel
The sight of her beautiful city
 Laid wake all night
Giving thanks to their
Beautiful patron goddess

The sight of athens
Was nearly as beautiful as athena
With the owl as her symbol
Of peace and justice.
Athena!a beautiful and
Wise warrior princess
The pride of Olympus

Athena!the heart of her father
Her beauty knew no mother
She was talented like no other
Her vast rule knew no border
She was bathed with gold
And rays of sunshine.
Her love for wisdom made
her unique in a godly way

With her sword of wisdom on
Her right hand and a shield
Of experience on the left,
She led her people to war
And always came back victorious
Athens was the pride of greece
Gifted with great men...
of great many talents.

It all leads back to her
The patron goddess athena
She ruled with peace and justice
Her uniqueness revealed itself
In many ways.....Of all on
Olympus,she was singled out
As the wisest and bravest
To have ever lived.

Secret Admirer

I've never been the type to say what I feel,
So basically I keep everything inside
And with you it was no different.
I want to tell you, believe me I've tried
But there's part of me that just can't take that chance
So I doubt that you'll ever know
Which may be fine with you, but it's hurting me.
I choose not to show it though
I guess I'm your secret admirer
That name seems to fit just right
I don't know what I like about you
But you're on my mind, day and night
Maybe it's the way you look
So sexy I can't get enough
Or how you make me feel when you come around
I instantly forget all other stuff
Maybe it's the way you say my name
Or maybe it's the way you smile
Then again it might just be everything
Getting to know you seems worth of my while
But I guess I'll never know what it is.
My true feelings I could never reveal to you,
I'll just admire you from a distance.
I'm not sure what else there is to do

Isley

Far into the north laid his domain
Oscillated by the vanities of life
He sought the principles of para psychology, far from being called ordinary
He grew in wisdom and understanding
Disoriented by nature's demise
He turned away from mother nature

A product of love that never loved
With his heart stuck in his jeans
He walked through pain and hate
Slowly developing his disparity
He gladly disembarked from love's ship
And ran from hate to embrace pain
Far into the east he battled riful

Like a seed slowly germinating
He rose higher on each new defeat
Cursed by the sun and moon,he
Seeked comfort in a cave far north.
Slowly claiming fortune and fame
The whole north turned to ISLEY.

Yonder My Wonder

Oh my beautiful lovely flower
Its no surprise you're a wonder
To think that I met you under a light shower...in a dream that I fathom
You indeed are truly awesome

The colours comes to life when you smile
The star lite in your eyes,
Gives me a reason to keep writing
You are the lyrics of my poems
Cause you are a fairytale with no end

I could feel your love from a mile away
Though I was always on the highway
We laid wake all night trying
To keep up to the speed of love
But even love has its laws

I am scared of loosing you
So I always write about you.
Even though I barely come up with something new,I know with you
my sky will always be blue.

Some One Behind the Door

The dim light in the hall way
Gave away signs of moving figures
Scared of facing reality
I turned my heart to the stars
Wishing badly that I was in mars

The vicious sounds of angry growling
Drew my heart back to earth
In the safety of my tiny room
I stood scared and insecure
Praying badly for daylight

What seemed like blood seemed
To be dripping from the weird figure!?
Or was it water?did it matter.....?!
I felt like screaming when my
Name echoed all around me

My imaginations took advantage
Of the situation at hand
Sending scary images into my mind
I crossed my fingers and prayed
Hard for daylight..somehow it
Looked like the clock wasn't ticking

As if watching a movie,I saw
My life crumble before me
Fear held me tightly and wouldn't
Let go!who's there?!I cried
Praying for a response

Just like a miracle,it all stopped
The figure wasn't there anymore
All of a sudden someone knocked
lightly on the door, who on earth
Could be knocking at this hour.
I stood still and wished for death.

Elise

Oh!I still remember....
the magic in her smile,I can't dismember
Just the snap of her fingers,
turns solid stones tender.
The blue in your star filled eyes
Make the deep blue sea cry.

You are a perfect creation
And just like an animation,
You send goose bumps down my spine
Thereby making me feel all fine
You are indespicably unique
That's why you are Elise

You are my darling flower
Your love gives me power.
I stare up at the stars
And I remember why you
love them so...they remind
you of how much I love you

Some times I wish I never
Met you,cause now it seems
Like I can't do without you
I wish to be the sun,in other
To help glorify your beauty
And the moon to watch you sleep.

As tall as a high mast
Your love seems so vast
You make me feel cherished
Thereby making the enemies to want me perished...you are my queen
So exhibit your beauty within.

Just like barbie in fairytopia
I found your love deep in utopia
Even though I love you from afar
Your love has left me with a scar
The summer scent of your hair
Leaves a beautiful fragrance in the air
You will always be my ELISE.

What Is Love

It is quiet and dark, with no one around,
Just a little girl, who was almost dying.
My heart felt so heavy with grief
when she looked at me
with those sad blue eyes.
The thought of dying
perhaps frightened her
as much as watching her die
filled my stomach with pain,
a pain I wish I could vomit.
Sitting down,dull to my self,
silently cursing under my breath,
Since everything puts on a semblance
Of sorrow.
The bitter fragrance of death filled the air.
From a distance,I could see it coming,
Putting on a wicked grin,
Anxious to taste her life,
and take it all away.
If only I could switch places with her,
but it seemed only interested in her.
To think that death rejected me,
i truly might be as worthless as hell.
Looking at her,I felt dejected.
So sad eyed and soft and grey
With her whole life ahead of her,
Was death so heartless,I thought to my self.
If only I could be more belligerent.
That way I could at least draw his attention.
The wind whispered something to her
And like a zombie she walked aimlessly
Towards the cold hands of death.
Embracing him so tenderly with no fear
Could she be insane!?
On the verge of death....true!
But possibly insane!
Like a spark in the dark,
It finally came clearer to me.
Her life was nothing short of a tragedy.
So painful it was pitiful.
Infected with a virus she knew nothing
About.from parents she never saw.
Being cheated by nature and denied
The sweet comforts of a family,
Its safe to say she died of loneliness.
Death offered what no one ever did
An embrace, though a very cold one
But being showered a bit of love,
Was all she needed in her life.
Those blue eyes,so sad and grey
Her life ended the day she was born,
For her father was a victim of HIV
Passing it on to his innocent little girl.
As I watched her go with death
Out of plain sight,
I thought to my self what is LOVE?.

My Daddy

Daddy's really angry again
What will he do...beat me up
Try to drown me or throw me in the closet
God am really scared
Pls make him go away

The look in his eyes are frightening
Like a lion staring at its prey
With full intentions of devouring me
What if I die today
Will it even matter to him

I hate my life and this world
No day goes by without a scar
To forever remind me of my inferiority
Why does it have to be this way
When will it be over

Does daddy even love me at all
Why does it feel like he doesn't
He hates me!!am certain of that
But I still love my daddy.
