Into the Ground

I sat in my head
For so long it did seem
Sat in a well
Drowning in a dream
A dream of what was
Lost and once found
Time after time,
I ran myself into the ground

Now Is Our Time

Now is our time, don't let just walk on by
Live for everyone, think when you’re alone
Never hold regrets dear, they’ll only remind you
Of the mistakes, that we have all done
Peace is a principle, rude is personality
Share our love with those around
And don’t mind those who fear
Always look out; sometimes it is best to steer clear
Life is what you make it, so do not try and fake it
Happiness is contagious; all it takes is the right amount of cheer
To brighten any ones day, is to hold their love dear
It’s not every day we get the choice
To no longer live in fear

Embers

I see why you think this is acceptable
I understand why you failed at making me miserable
I know now what you play
I see through your bullshit
I can feel my way
through this maze
Of Delusional Denials
Taking hold of what you thought was real
Bringing me into my destiny
Taking me back from what was left to feel

Mind over you
You were a waste
Wasting my energy
Taking up space
Now Its all clear
Even though its all black
Nothing will change it
Thats the matter of fact

Mindlessly meandering
Barking to the wind

You think you were right
Well we both know you were wrong
I know exactly what you are made of
Bullshit and a false sense of getting along.

I clear my head
from the thoughts you provoked
I stand my ground
Over the charred embers smoke
I know I will be better
Than you ever knew
From the person you mistook me for
TO the spirit I will grow
YOu always had to have it your way
Even now to this day
You say you want it to be different,
Than why don't you try and change today?

Have You Ever Felt Their Pain

Have you ever felt their pain?
Wandering when you will ever feel at home again?
Lost inside an empty cell
Battered and bruised, left to rot in one’s personal hell
Life is a damage plan
Set up to hurt everyone, again, again, again
I know what it’s like to be left alone
For long enough of a time, to never want to go home
They’ll take your life, drain it clear
Vampires feeding constantly off of, everyone’s favorite fear
Run while we can, to our promised land,
Find the one you can love, build for two a home
So that even when the world’s torn apart, you never feel alone
Hold onto love and make sure to never let it go
Time is always on our side, this much I know
Slowly we mature, the faster we seem to grow

Broken Hand

Just to see the rest
applauding at your victory
that you won by beating the test
The test you then failed
WHen the ones that mattered the most
Carried you deep within their chest
Within their soul
WIthin their mind
YOu failed them'
Time after countless time
All because you thought you knew
What was best
You were wrong
They were right
Just and fair
You failed, you failed
THey held you to higher standards
Standards you couldnt stand
YOu broke the walls in anger
With a guilty broken hand

Signs

I met you the other day
It changed my life in a way
You make me feel good
I knew that you would
I know that you are right
For my mentality, each and every night
You showed me a sign
I thought was lost down the line
The beginning came forth
From an end drawn close
Towards the light we will shine
To the universe we will grow
