Trudy

Trudy left on a Friday night all she had she held to tight
Got on a bus and left that day, neighbors glad she went away

Arrived at the station in the middle of the night
The big lights of London looked so bright

Big city starry night wish mum could see me tonight
She felt like a princess of the night.

The bastard man that ruined her life
Had run away with her fathers’ wife

To go back now would be a defeat
To stay hear have fun would be a real treat

Hand in hand she went in tow
Where it was leading no one would know

The first hits free and it feels so fine
The second one costs and your addicted for time

Pimped and punched from pillar to post
And by the ones she loved the most

No men ever knew her name
But they paid there money all the same

Trudy died on a Friday night she had nothing to hold on tight.

The Mod

My Sunshine shines on my mohair suit, flickering explosions of perfect light
Heels a clicking causing small sparks on the cobbled streets.
Shirt and blazer so sharp and neat, a clean white cover on my scooter seat
A cufflink clinks on a cold wine glass, and I look at the refection in the glass.
A record cover lays around, with a target and a guitar sound
Heels and boots lay all around, white powders, pills its ultra sound!!
Parkas fitted over suits, weather shielded overtones
The road to Brighton glides downhill, Love reign on me!!!

The Coke Heads

The coke heads in the back room are drinking cheap red wine
Narcotics and alcoholics are here to pass the time

There bull stories sounding like a movie caught in time
Some have all the problems, but some just have the time

The feeling never leaves you as you do another line
This stuffs half expensive as you do line to line to line

The wallpaper is ugly, and the place just smells like grime
The girls and boys are laughing like it’s going to be some crime

When they were born, the expectations were high up on the list
There parents thought the private schools would give you just the kick

But now your just another part of this awful mess
To get up in the morning is causing much distress

Your teeth are loose your all just skin and bone
Your rather fly than feed yourself now you all alone.

Pull the plug on everything and flush me down the loo
I can take another pill or do another line

Breathe

Breathe and open your eyes, you are alive!
Breathe and feel the air, it’s all around you
Breath and clench your fists, let the anger out

Walk, walk free my friend
Walk, walk tall my friend
Walk, walk like a man my friend

Sing and shout and let your head out
Sing and cry and don’t be shy
Sing and wake the worlds around you

For one thing learn something
For everything give back something
And for something don’t ask anything

He

He is slender he is slight
Like a razor Sharpe piece of light
He sits no longer than a fly
His attention shoots from side to side

He never stops to take a rest
It’s of he goes to make a mess
It’s a laugh when he’s around
You must take him as he’s found

Climbing, running, sliding down
His feet are never on the ground
A freak of speed he loves the ride
The faster it goes the ‘more he cries’

He is handsome and he knows
All the others find him so
If engaging, he’s is a joy
But to get the attention, of this boy?

A beautiful soul with a loving pride
A full-on soul with a darker side
Love from him means more than others
His sister finds him like no other

This perfect thin and golden man
Is growing fast as anyone can
To love him means the world to me
To be his friend and let him free!

Twisted

A twisted mind a tormented brain
2 steps forward and 2 steps back
It’s like looking at a paving crack

No one knows me in or out
I’m so confusing nothing helps
Twisted up and knotted well
I can’t even feel or smell

Weak and fragile as a vase
My head is in the awful maze
Am I alive or am I dead
Or is this all just in the head
Feel so sad and happy now

Laughter with tears and pain
Like a mad man in the rain
Spinning jumping on the spot
Like the one who’s lost the plot

All I want is to be completed
The feeling like you’ve achieved it
Not roll over and pull up the sheets
To jump out and demand the street

To love yourself when no one does
Just go to hell because that’s so
Bring it on and win the race
And it, if tears roll down my face
