Burn

Burn....

Burn Mother, burn
staring at the flames
burning higher and higher
the crackling sounds
the awful smells
I watch with disgust
as you burn
your life was colourful
shameful, hurtful
yet your beauty is all
in every corner of this
human tank of black
ashes to ashes
they say you go
whence you came
smouldering smoke now
burning my eyes
or is it a tear I shed
as you leave for
ever sleep, pondering on
ever life, we do not
speak. painfully gleeful
happiness, gladness
you left me, without a
trace, no warning
I hate you, how could
you go, leaving me
behind like a stray,
burnt mother, start a new
after forever is within
your grasp, take it, live
on in our hearts, don't
come back to this
empty nest, I have
taken on my new
wings, desires, adventure
love, wish you could see
through my eyes, feel with
my scorching heart
I miss you burning
mother, rest now,(burn....)
forever loved, missed...
dust to the wind, blowing
like pixie dust, glittering
sparkling, off with you
dear burning memories
my mother is gone but
she still whispers in my
soul, I love you my child....

For Whatever Reason

In a torrent we call life
Turmoil and hatred lurks
Around every corner
Love and laughter
Is but a small window
Of hope, but alas...
i dare not warn her
He holds her hand
Tightly as he ruins...
Her face is bloody
Swollen, broken, frozen
For whatever reason
The monster is gone
Ashes of life, deadly
Lifeless powder stains
the floor is red
The floor is read
She lives on in me
But she is dead
For whatever reason
