For Whatever Reason
In a torrent we call life
Turmoil and hatred lurks
Around every corner
Love and laughter
Is but a small window
Of hope, but alas...
i dare not warn her
He holds her hand
Tightly as he ruins...
Her face is bloody
Swollen, broken, frozen
For whatever reason
The monster is gone
Ashes of life, deadly
Lifeless powder stains
the floor is red
The floor is read
She lives on in me
But she is dead
For whatever reason
