For Whatever Reason

In a torrent we call life Turmoil and hatred lurks Around every corner Love and laughter Is but a small window Of hope, but alas... i dare not warn her He holds her hand Tightly as he ruins... Her face is bloody Swollen, broken, frozen For whatever reason The monster is gone Ashes of life, deadly Lifeless powder stains the floor is red The floor is read She lives on in me But she is dead For whatever reason

Thank you skat, i have not given a background for this poem, I try to speak out for women who have been and are being abused, that cant or have not been able to for themselves, some people may think its dark and horrific, but it is the painful and sad truth
