Sohail Ansary Poem
I looked at her sitting by the shore
Picking those rounded beauties I carved from stones,
Brushing it everyday, every hour
Rounded, smooth and buffed.
I glide to her gaining might by an inch
Watching the spark in those happy eyes,
Wanting to gift her to the infinite ocean
I glide to her gaining might by an inch.
Her feet I touch to greet her
I glide caressing her tender skin,
Taunting me with her laughter
She holds the shore when I lift.
She turns to her beloved by the shore
Feeling me through her skin,
Laughing through her eyes
I could touch his soul through her body.
In the serenity of that beautiful scene
I recede in bliss watching their love,
Wishing to see them everyday
I recede in bliss watching their love.
The majestic ocean speaks
And I come back with that message,
The stone of her colour, a gift
I am a wave, wishing I were divine.

Sohail Ansary Poem
In the comfort of your touch, feel what hurts me.
In the beauty of my smile, see my sorrow.
In my courage, smell my fear.
In my laughter, taste my tear.
When you rest your head on my chest listening to the lively rhythm,
In every beat, know my death.
I am lost, save me.

Sohail Ansary Poem
Her love threw him out and locked the door.
He broke the lock to reach her.
Her love broke him and pinned him down to the floor.
He crawled his way to her.
But that moment when she tossed his love, he stood. Clueless. Numb.
He saw her eyes fill.
His love was dearer than her soul.
His grief could make her ill.
Ill from the depth of her soul.
So she ran to him and held him, he rose. Stronger and deeper in love.
She was his elixir.
