Yunzhi Wu Poem
There are some gateways
to free you out of bond
of what you call a prison
and others hold it fond
There are some gateways
to save you from your plight
though you lack in strength
all knows of your might
Go on, go on
and be a fugitive
of what you hate and love so dear
what you call your life
There are some gateways
to set you forever free
let you fly as high as you wish
up and beyond that line of tree
There are some gateways
for you to be forever saved
away from all the pain
and walk on a road already paved
Sail on, sail on
through all the lies and obstacles
glimpse the edge of your prison
and melt into the sun’s last rays

Yunzhi Wu Poem
Once upon a time,
There was a guy
So wealthy who was named Rich.
And one day,
He brought home
The creature “Time” himself.
As the owner of the time,
He was known to all.
Constantly whispered and moaned about,
As the owner of time.
Though Time was old,
He was fearless and bold.
High and mighty,
Proud and cold.
So once he got tired,
From the wealthy man’s hold,
He broke free,
And ran away.
As Rich and his wealth
Became lonely again,
And so this time,
He brought home,
Some untamed,
Unnamed
Creature labeled:
Space.

Yunzhi Wu Poem
Pieces of courage,
bits of hope,
quilts of ripped up love,
waves of torn up sacrifice,
pieces and bits
quilts and waves
all the ingredients of a hero
lays scattered amongst the stars
The wind of time,
so softly does chime,
tinkling a gentle tune,
the flowers on a street side,
times f peril
when the flowers die
when endless night makes its descent
when the angles of death alight
This is when,
the slow steps of fate,
walks on the shores,
of the sea of stars,
when the horn of fate does blow
the stars gather their eternal light
the broken pieces come together,
and thus a hero is born

Yunzhi Wu Poem
Twin stars in the gloom
unblinking yet containing
secrets to be told.
Young and old where wisdom hold
always in search for wonders.

Yunzhi Wu Poem
I’m a proud wanderer of the earth,
Traveling since my birth,
I once flew with the chirping birds
As they migrated south.
I’m a proud wanderer of the earth,
Traveling since my birth,
I once danced in the bright green fields,
Drenched in the laughter of noon.
I’m a proud wanderer of the earth,
Traveling since my birth,
I once sat on a raft of leaf,
Singing with the running stream.
I’m a proud wanderer of the earth,
Traveling since my birth,
Now that I’m tired of sitting in the forest,
Where shall I go next?

Yunzhi Wu Poem
He slammed the door,
With a great loud thud.
To prevent the dark evil thoughts,
Just lurking behind the door,
From getting hold of his mind.
He slammed the door,
With all his might,
For in this dark evil hour,
No one was there,
To help his falling citadel.
He slammed the door,
A door to his heart,
To shut out the dark evil despair,
Lurking just out of reach,
Besieging his soul.
He slammed the door,
And wished to see the night sky,
For in this dark evil time,
Only the beautiful shooting stars,
Could light up his dust-coated soul.
